A Slice of Wood Workshop

We need a bigger kitchen table. There are already 5 of us in my family and we are expecting our 4th child July 13th. My wife is really wanting one sooner or later, and I personally don’t think we should have to buy one when I could just build it. First thing first is getting some kind of plan together. It will be 7.5′ long and roughly 37″ wide. It will stand 30″ tall and have a bench and 4 chairs. The legs are going to have a slight taper on the inside of the legs and the aprons are going to have an arc look. I want to try and not use any metal fasteners, just glue and good fitting joints. I’ve got to go pick up the lumber and I’ll be using southern yellow pine (as of right now). I hope you all are having a great weekend and look forward to the next post.
