Hi!!! If you don’t know, I’m Timothy Charles. I am the owner of A Slice of Wood Workshop.
I started woodworking years ago just like most woodworkers watching my father in the shop and helping him tinker with different things. Due to this, I now have a passion and enjoy greatly seeing the process go from start to finish (yes, even the sanding can be enjoyable).
I started the hobby business in 2009 with the intent of having fun while creating great furniture for people.
I have expanded out from the very beginning of just making a birdhouse or a candle holder to making furniture such as adirondack chairs and even coffee tables. I plan on getting more detailed as the years go on.
My goals, personnaly and on this website, are to learn as much as possible while having fun. I want to start meeting new people and interacting with them, bouncing ideas off eachother to create great projects whether it is furniture, or just a different style picture frame.
